Made every year by Estelle Rosenberg Eisler in honor of her Aunt Rose Feldman Dittenheimer

1 1/2 loaves of whole wheat bread
3 green peppers, sliced very thin,
2 large onions, sliced thin,
3 eggs, slightly beaten,
2 Tbl. Poultry seasoning .
Salt and pepper.
Veg. Oil or chicken fat.

  1. Toast bread in 350 oven.
  2. .Tear into pieces.
  3. Put in colander and sprinkle with water. 
  4. Wring out and add seasoning.
  5. Place In casserole and bake in 350 oven for 50 min.

Notes from Estelle: I now add slices mushrooms and red peppers in place of green or combo. I also cube bread, toast and lightly moisten.
